Submit a Free Preliminary Adoption Application
If you are ready to take a first step toward a child who needs family, fill out our free adoption pre-app. This is an empowering first step that will unlock the right pathway for the family God has planned for you.
AGCI adoption staff will review your pre-application to determine your family’s eligibility for specific adoption programs. Since each country has its own set of eligibility requirements, a pre-app allows our inquiry team to provide you with the best direction on the international adoption programs that would best fit your family.
One-On-One Consult with Our Adoption Team
Upon receipt of your pre-app, a member of our adoption team will reach out to you within one business day to discuss the adoption programs that might be the best fit for your family. We’ll be ready to answer your questions and guide you with empathy and insight through the next chapters of your story.

APPLY—Submit Your Adoption Application!
Prospective adoptive parents must complete the formal application and submit a $300 non-refundable adoption application fee. Upon application approval, you have officially begun your international adoption journey to help a child who needs family!

Turn in Your Orientation Packet
Next, you will receive an international adoption orientation packet that includes the adoption service agreement, fee schedule, and a country-specific service plan. Your adoption advisor will schedule a call to review these documents with you and discuss your next steps in your adoption journey.
Begin Your Home Study and Complete Paperwork
Prospective adoptive parents will choose a home study agency from AGCI’s approved list of adoption home study agencies.
The “paper chase” can be an intimidating part of the adoption journey, but don't be discouraged; every moment spent is one step closer to being the family God has planned for a child in need.
Wait to be Matched with Your Adopted Child!
The wait can often be the hardest part of the adoption process, but thankfully we know God is always with us, He has a perfect plan, and everything works out in His divine timing. And remember, we’re always here to help support you and answer any questions you may have.
We seek to be fully transparent about the adoption process, so you can make a well-informed decision of the agency you want to walk with you to successfully complete your adoption journey. If you’re interested, some additional information we can provide includes:
Number of applicants we receive each year.
Number of adoption placements we have made.
Number and percentage of those placements that have been disrupted or dissolved.
